I saw Dr lappa yesterday to discuss some scan results on my back after leaving the surgery he was concerned and looked into my results further then called that evening and asked me to go to the surgery today to discuss things further he suggested I see a different consultant locally and get a second opinion I was surprised and felt lucky to have such a caring and experienced Dr who I could speak to and explained every thing to me and put me at ease thank you so much Dr Lappa you are a credit to the practise there

All receptionists are extremely helpful & polite. The surgery is always clean & tidy. Toilet is very clean also. Nurses & doctors all very good with explaining diagnosis & medication as well as referrals you may need as a patient. If you cannot get an appointment when you request, the receptionists do everything they can to help with an alternative.

What's good: I find the receptionists at Church View to always be very friendly and helpful, they are great! Also the nurse that I see is absolutely lovely, always takes her time with me, tries to help and speaks with me as an equal. What isn't good: The only real issue I have with this surgery is Dr Jay, who I find to be dismissive, rude, confrontational, haughty and completely lacking in empathy. He is the only GP I have seen, maybe the others are better. Also, it isn't ideal that the surgery isn't open any evenings or weekends, and would be pleased if that could be changed.

This is the worse surgery I have uses. Cannot get an appointment for 2 weeks, only certain times during the day, not around working hours. Long waiting times in the surgery for Dr to call your name. A joke of a surgery.

Arrived for my appointment with a nurse only to be told there was no nurse available " she is of sick". Was offered appointment at Hockley and told a bus goes there. Iam 86 and have mobility problems and had just paid for a taxi to get to church view. Poor service and very uncaring attitude.
